Here comes a recently finished 6'6'', 3wt rod, built on an Asian blank. There are several Asian tapers on the market today, labeled under different names. I'm not sure, but I suspect that many of them are similar tapers. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Asian manufactured blanks, but the 6'6'', 3wt is pretty damn good. Great progressive geometry, perfect for brookies all over the world.This is a brown translucent take on this blank, appointed in typical Fine Tackle way. Slide ring hardware in polished aluminum and light Pac Bay snake guides. This rod is for sale. Please contact me for details.

BACKGROUND

I was born in 1973 in Hammarö, Sweden. I have my studio in Stockholm, where I have been building fly rods for five years. I work full time as an architect and have a family with a wife and two daughters. I do this for fun, even though it certainly inspires me in my job as an architect and designer.

I January 2013 I was honored with a membership as a Journeyman Rod Builder in the newly formed Rodsmith's Guild. I will do my very best to live up to the standards of this exclusive guild, and represent myself and Sweden in the future with new and beautiful fly rods.

BLANKS AND APPOINTMENTS

My rods are built in a minimalistic and sparse style with great attention to details. In every rod I build, I try to challenge myself and raise the level of the craftsmanship. Every blank deserves to be treated in its own unique way, with its own appointments and unique hardware. I mix standard products with custom made hardware to achieve this. My goal is to develop my style in every rod I build.

I represent Tom Morgan Rodsmiths and Epic Swift Flyfishing as their representative builder. I'm also open to build on other blanks, and have great contacts among shop blank manufacturers all over the world.
