Hexagraph 8', 4/5wt, graphite rod made on NOS blank in unpainted, dark green, almost black color. Translucent wrappings in dark brown silk, chrome guides and a down locking reel seat from Golden Witch with special ebony insert and matte NS skeleton.
I tried to give this build an amish flavor, with a sparse look and utilitarian appointments. No winding check, no trim bands, no bling. This old Powell designed blank is so beautiful, and I wanted to let it speak for itself.
