This is a pack rod that was cut and ferruled for me by my friend, rod designer James Green. It's an 8'3'', 5wt blank with a calm, medium action. The extra ferrules add some weight to the blank which makes it a bit slower than usual, resulting in a performance very close to bamboo. Sliding reel seat over cork, with details made from white rubber and Corian. Ritz grip made from extra flor cork. Black stripping guide and snake guides from Alps in their extremely durable Diamond finish. Guides are wrapped with black Phoenix silk, and finished with two rounds of epoxy. This rod is spoken for and will ship out to the UK during the week.
