This rod was built on a bamboo blank made by my friend, the old reel designer and bamboo master Ingvar Nilsson, also known as Ingvar of Sweden. It's a penta version of the famous Driggs taper, where The five strip configuration makes it a bit faster and more powerful. The rod was accomplished with a reel seat in snake wood turned by myself, and a Duronze skeleton from Ingvars workshop. I blued all hardware to give it a classic look and used Snake Brand Original guides wrapped with Pearsall Java with brown trim bands. This rod was made on special order for a customer here in Sweden.
