Here comes another Epic 480, my favorite of the Epic tapers. This rod was made as a gift to a friend of a friend. The skeleton is made from titanium and has my logo engraved. The sliding ring is cone shaped to fit the reel foot tightly. The guides are wrapped in Gossamer Naples silk in chestnut color, and it was finished with two layers of epoxy. I have to build one of these for my own fishing this summer.
